AROUND GRINDELWALD

Our reception team is happy to advise you personally and help you make the most of your stay in Grindelwald.

Mountain railways
For hikes, we recommend the Jungfrauferien hiking map; printed maps are also available at our reception. You can find out which mountain railways are currently open via the live operating data of the Jungfrau Railways.

Tickets
You can buy all tickets for the Jungfrau Region directly at our reception at the standard price, allowing you to skip the queue at the railways. We are also happy to arrange paragliding tickets for you. Activities such as river rafting, canyon swing, and skydiving can be booked online at Outdoor Switzerland.

Guest card
The guest card entitles you to free use of the local bus as well as discounts on various admissions and tickets.

To connect to the Hotel Fiescherblick reception, dial 111.

Meal times
In summer, we serve breakfast from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.; in winter, from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

Water
The tap water in Grindelwald is of the highest drinking quality; simply refill the carafe in your room at the tap.

Pillows & blankets
Please order additional pillows at reception by 5:00 p.m. Special pillows and duvets for allergy sufferers are available on request.

Wash & Dry
A self-service laundry room is available in the basement:

  • Washing: CHF 5.– per machine (detergent included)
  • Drying: CHF 5.– per machine
  • Run time per machine: approx. 1 hour

EMERGENCY

In an emergency, you can reach reception at any time on 111, and the emergency line on 112.

⚠️ Cardiac emergency
A defibrillator is available at the reception of Hotel Gletschergarten (right next door).

Fire
Please stay calm. Our hotel is protected by a modern fire alarm system. In the event of a fire, never use the elevator. Fire extinguishers are located on every floor. The assembly point is at the local heritage museum/church.

Smoking
All rooms are non-smoking. Smoking is prohibited in all publicly accessible areas in accordance with cantonal law; we kindly ask you to smoke only on the balcony.
